Who are The WeegieBeats?
​
Graeme and Richard are graduates from the RCS (Royal Conservatoire of Scotland). Richard studied piano and is an accomplished organist and vocalist. Graeme studied saxophone, guitar and voice. Jay is a music graduate from Strathclyde University studying percussion and drums.
​
​After graduating all three musicians have continued to play in various bands and solo projects, Graeme and Richard teach music in the secondary school sector whilst Jay works in the entertainment industry.
​
​They are available for hire for wedding ceremonies, drinks receptions, evening receptions wedding meals and for private parties or functions. They are based in Glasgow but happy to travel throughout Scotland.
​
They have performed for many events and clients over the years. Previous clients include Birra Moretti, The Huxley Bar in Edinburgh, Grill on the corner in Glasgow, Defender Jam at Kelburn Castle.
